Exhibit Booth Opportunities

ASTR offers three categories of exhibit booth representation at the Annual Conference: college/univeristy, non-profit, and for profit. Each booth includes exhibitor registration for two representatives. You may purchase up to two more regsitrations per booth. In October, a form will be sent to your main exhibit contact to submit your representative names. All exhibit booth opportunities are on a first-come first-served basis. You can register online or by downloading the prospectus (pdf).

* Handling fees will be incurred based on the weight of each item shipped. Please use shipping labels, provided by ASTR, for each item shipped. Please also complete the inbound shipping form and send directly to the contact listed. You are responsible for any additional charges that you may incur from the hotel.

What if my items are not at my booth?

If your items are not at your booth when you arrive, please find Briana Baker onsite. If boxes do not have attached labels on them, you will need to come to the storage room to claim your boxes so that they can be delivered to your booth.

Will security be available to watch my things?

The exhibit hall will be locked and accessible by ASTR staff only during non-exhibit hours.

How will I ship my items back?

Please refer to the outbound shipping form below.

Advertising Opportunities

Maybe you can’t attend the conference? You can still reach this target audience by placing a black and white or color ad in the conference program book that is distributed to attendees!

An onsite program book includes:

  • A complete schedule of educational sessions
  • A listing of special events
  • ASTR business meetings

Conference attendees use the onsite program book as their guide throughout the meetings of plenary sessions and seminars. Your best outreach to attendees is through this useful conference tool. Reserve a space to promote your company’s products and/or services to this broad audience of theatre scholars and educators in higher education. Important Dates & Reminders

Friay, September 21

Deadline to submit ads AND company logos for conference program booklet.

Wednesday, October 3

Last day to recieve Exhibit Booth early bird registration rate.

Deadline for exhibit booth registrants to receive inclusion in final conference program booklet.

Friday, October 12

Deadline to register additional exhibit booth and sponsorship representation for early bird rate of $150. Price will increase to $200 up until the conference and $225 for registration onsite.

Wednesday, November 14

First day exhibit booth shipments can arrive at The Westin San Diego Gaslmap hotel.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted online by October 3, 2018 to receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given after this date. If ASTR cannot hold the conference due to acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, or curtailment of transportation facilitating other emergencies making it inadvisable, illegal, or impracticable to provide the facilities or to hold the meeting, each prepaid registrant/ exhibitor will receive a copy of conference handouts and any other materials that would have been distributed. Fixed conference expenses will be paid from the pre-registration funds. Remaining funds will be refunded to pre-registrants/ exhibitors. ASTR is not responsible for any other costs incurred by pre-registrants/exhibitors in connection with the conference.
