Broderick Chow, Eero Laine, and Claire Warden's edited volume, Performance and Professional Wrestling was published by Routledge in August. The volume brings together nearly twenty international scholars of theatre, performance, dance, and the social sciences to examine a performance form that encompasses numerous international traditions and a history of global exchange. Also, Laine is one of the general editors of Lateral (, which is the peer-reviewed, open-access, journal of the Cultural Studies Association. In November, Lateral published a special issue on “Leveraging Justice” through performance for victims of human trafficking. The issue is guest edited by Janelle Reinelt and María Estrada-Fuentes and features research from an international assembly of scholars.
