Amy E. Hughes (Associate Professor, Theater History & Criticism, Brooklyn College) received a long-term American Antiquarian Society (AAS)–National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Fellowship to support research for a monograph-in-progress, An Actor’s Tale: Theater, Culture, and Everyday Life in Nineteenth-Century US America, during spring 2016. She also received short-term fellowships from the New England Regional Fellowship Consortium (August & October 2015), Winterthur Museum (July 2016), and Massachusetts Historical Society (February 2017).
