ASTR Invites Applications for Theatre Survey Editorial Positions

Associate Editor

Applications (or nominations) are invited for the position of Associate Editor of Theatre Survey, which is published by Cambridge University Press under the auspices of the American Society for Theatre Research. The new Associate Editor will officially begin in January of 2017, serving as Associate Editor for two years, and then as Editor for two years. Editorial transition, however, will likely begin in November of 2016 when the editorial team meets at the annual ASTR conference.

Candidates should have a record of scholarly publication, be familiar with both landmark scholarship and new methodologies across the spectrum of the discipline, and be active in professional scholarly organizations, especially ASTR. The promise of some institutional support, such as aid for a graduate assistant, would be an asset.

The letter of application should describe your qualifications (including any previous editorial experience) as well as some description of potential institutional support. The application, CV, and names and contact information of three people prepared to write in support of your application should be sent by September 15, 2016 as e-mail attachments to:

Book Review Editor

Applications (or nominations) are invited for the position of Book Review Editor for Theatre Survey, which is published by Cambridge University Press under the auspices of the American Society for Theatre Research. The new Book Review Editor will serve for three years with an official start date of January 1, 2017). The promise of some institutional support, such as aid for a graduate assistant, would be an asset. The letter of application should describe the applicant's qualifications and include some description of potential institutional support. The application, the C.V., and the names of three people supporting the application should be sent by September 15, 2016 as email attachments to:
