In 2008, ASTR doubled expenditure on fellowships and awards and launched a series of New Initiatives – seven new award categories in addition to long-standing awards – including:

• Research fellowships and awards
• Graduate student support
• Internationalization, diversity, and outreach efforts

Our goal is to fully support these fellowships, awards and other efforts with interest on the ASTR Endowment, but we need your help to make this long-term investment in the future of the Society.
