Graduate Student Caucus
The Graduate Student Caucus is a community of young theatre scholars. By uniting the graduate-student community within ASTR, the Caucus seeks to facilitate communication among geographically distant members, enabling both the exchange of ideas between those who share interests and convenient access to information regarding each member's local archives or other scholarship resources. Additionally, we aim to recruit new scholars to ASTR and help our members take advantage of the opportunities already available to graduate students. Finally, because it is represented on the ASTR Executive Committee, the Graduate Student Caucus provides a way for young scholars to give input into an organization that will be part of careers for years to come.
The Graduate Student Caucus meets annually at the ASTR conference. Graduate students as well as recent graduates are welcome. Please take a moment to read news about our Facebook page. We are currently developing an expanded website to facilitate the discussion of future initiatives. To become a member now, e-mail Charlotte McIvor or Kimi Johnson. Don't forget to subscribe to our list-serv! .

A Message from the President of ASTR:
In ASTR, we are committed to seeing that graduate students have a substantial voice and presence in the organization. We welcome scholars at all stages of their careers, and warmly invite you to become a member and get involved in the Graduate Student Caucus. I know you will be impressed by the intellectual quality of our conference and find it easy to meet people and make meaningful acquaintances there.
